Privacy policy

The short version
Your video never leaves your phone. Pose detection and scoring run on the device. If you create an account, only the numeric results of an analysis sync — roughly a kilobyte per shot — so your history survives a new phone. There is no advertising, no data broker, and nothing is sold.
What stays on your device, always
- Every video clip you record or import, stored in the app’s private container.
- Every pose track (the per-frame joint coordinates extracted from a clip).
- Contact-frame thumbnails.
- Your profile photo, if you set one.
None of these are ever uploaded, by any code path, in any tier of the product.
What syncs, only if you make an account
- Scores and measured checkpoint values, as numbers and short generated sentences.
- Your training profile: goal, court days, session length, flagged injuries.
- Logged games, coach sessions and drill ticks.
- Your display name, email address, and which sign-in provider you used.
This exists so that a lost phone does not mean a lost history. You can use the entire app without an account and nothing will leave the device at all.
Sign-in
Sign in with Apple, Google, or an emailed magic link. We receive your email address and, on a first Apple or Google sign-in, the display name that provider supplies. We never receive your password.
Processors
- Supabase (US East) — authentication and the results database.
- Apple / Google — only if you use their sign-in.
- Sentry — crash reports. These contain a stack trace and device model, not your data.
- Netlify — hosts this website and stores waitlist form submissions.
Analytics
This website runs no third-party analytics, no advertising pixels, and sets no tracking cookies. Netlify records standard server access logs.
Deleting everything
Settings → Clear this phone wipes local storage and signs you out. Account → Delete account removes your account and every row attached to it on the server. Both are immediate and neither requires emailing anyone.
Children
FormCourt is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
Material changes will be announced by email to beta members before they take effect.
